Happy Caturday cat people!

Have a happy and safe July 4th, and please be careful with your cats and fireworks! Remember cats can get frightened from loud noises, so if anyone is shooting off fireworks in your area, make sure your cats are safe, and give them somewhere safe to hide in your home!

Adopt Don’t Shop!

How can I, in good conscience, host a podcast called Shelter Cats and a weekly blog, also called…….Shelter Cats, and not show off some amazing cats that need forever homes right now!

Allow me to make up for that oversight!

Here are just a few of the amazing amazing cats that need forever homes right now, courtesy of AlleyKattz Rescue, the amazing organizaton that pulled my beloved 13 year old foster fail, Taylor, from the jaws of certain death and brought him to a wonderful retirement with me!

Angie!

Angie (f) is about 2 years of age and is fully vetted. She is a calm, sweet girl who would just love to curl up next to you, or to snooze in a sunny spot by the window! She gets along well with other cats and is good with children (over 15 years of age). No dogs though, as they can be intimidating to her.

Nico!

Nico is a happy, sweet boy, who is FIV+ , and is waiting for his “fur-ever” home!. He is approx. 1 -1/2 years old and is fully vetted. Nico enjoys relaxing and also loves playing with toys! Open your home to him and let him put his stamp of approval on your heart.

Jeremy and Trixie!

Jeremy (m) and Trixie (f) are adorable bonded siblings, approx. 1–1/2 years old, and need to find a home together! Jeremy (black) is very outgoing and Trixie (tortoiseshell) is a little shy and needs Jeremy nearby to feel at ease. They are such good kitties and would be wonderful pets for the right person, couple, or family (older children would be best due to Trixie’s shyness). Please open your heart and home to this dynamic duo! You will be glad you did.

Aaron and Emily!

Aaron (m) & Emily (f) are sweet, playful cats that have lots of love and snuggles to give and are looking for a loving home. They are a bonded pair, so must be adopted together, but are also good with other cats. They are approximately 3 years old and are fully vetted.

These are just a few of the many amazing cats AlleyKattz has for adoption right now. If you’re interested in any of these amazing cats, please fill out an application at this link:

A vet reference, home check, and application are required! They’ll even arrange transport!

AlleyKattz has so many more amazing cats available, so go check out their website and find your shelter cat right now!

AlleyKattz is a non-profit organization, so if you can’t adopt, DONATE!

AlleyKattz also needs fosters, so if you have space and can foster, FOSTER! It’s an amazing, rewarding experience.

Thank you Sonnia and all the volunteers at AlleyKattz for allowing me to feature just a few of their amazing cats!
