One year of Vance!
Today is a very special day!
One year ago today, Vance came to live with me.
Today is also his designated birthday, since I do not know his actual birthday.
So double the reason to celebrate!
January 28, 2022 was an interesting time in my journey.
Over one week since my cheating ex moved out, her tail between her legs, leaving half her belongings behind.
While I was beyond thrilled to see that horrible human being leave, she did, as per our agreement, take two of our five cats with her.
Bean, Mona’s brother, and Minnie, the stray that showed up at my door.
While I miss Bean, it is Minnie that I miss the most.
She was my girl, and was my lap cat, but she did cuddle with…..her….every night, so I relented to her taking Minnie.
I sincerely hope they’re happy and well care for in whatever shack she’s….shacked up in.
I digress…
Literally days after she moved out, I let my rescue friends know, the same people who led Mona to my life, that I now have more than enough space for fosters.
Or in my case, another foster fail.
The result….

Like Tiger before him, Vance is just the sweetest most gentle cat.
Always loving.
Always friendly.
Always hungry. That boy can eat!

Swapping a cheating ex, her well meaning but annoying son, for a loving orange cat was simply put the BEST thing to happen to me in 2022.
