The Cat with the Kazoo Meow
November 2nd is not a date I want to celebrate.
Or commemorate.
I’d rather it be just a normal run of the mill November day.
However, that is not to be.
November 2nd marks TEN FULL YEARS since Tiger left me and crossed the Rainbow Bridge rather suddenly.
A fucking decade.
I usually like it when time flies, but in this case, I do not.
I always say I wouldn’t have traded the 4 years I had with him for anything, but, in hindsight, I’d rather trade some of my years so that he could have had a few more with me.
Orange cats are always the sweetest cats, and in his case, he invented that phrase.
No kinder, gentler cat ever lived.
Now that Vance is well established as the orange cat of the household, I thought it fitting to spend the rest of October commemorating the life of….
The cat with the kazoo meow.
For those that haven’t read this blog, and how dare you by the way, here’s a snippet of my original blog explaining why I call Tiger that. I discovered this literally on the ride home from adopting Tiger from his shelter:
The whole ride home Tiger sang the song of his people. Not a meow as much as a sound that resembled a kazoo. Or those stick things that make that funny sound when you flipped them end on end.
MEOWOOOOO
MEOWOOOOOOOO
Join me, will you, in the first of 4 weeks of memories of my sweet Tiger.
I hope you, Tyler and Jackson are living it up at the RB, and I can’t wait to see you again one day.
Tiger loved chasing flashlights:

This was Tiger’s pose when he wanted to be fed. No meows, no demands…..just this pose at that spot of my kitchen table.
Taken in early 2010, this is my all time favorite shot of Tiger. He LOVED to sleep in a sunspot.
